ANS, Inc. is a high tech company offering the AnswerMailbox System to rental mailbox stores across the United States. The AnswerMailbox System (AMS) uses wireless sensors mounted in mail boxes to detect the presence of mail in the box. Using our patented technology, these sensors send a message through the ANS router box to notify the mail box holder of the presence of mail through an e-mail or text message.

ANS, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Daniel Kunkel, Mike Albertson and several other partners. The owners developed the patented technology following many frustrated trips to an empty rental mailbox.

The original service, called Electronic Scan and Notify, was offered in 2007. In 2009, a revamped wireless version, AnswerMailbox™, was offered to rental mailbox facilities. This fully automatic system allows stores to easily mount the sensors into existing mailboxes and then use the Internet to set up the system for use. No software to install! No buttons to push! Once the system is installed, it does all the work!
